Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Citations:
- "Is that where - ? "whispered Profesor McGonagall.
"Yes" said Dumbledore. "He'll have that scar for ever".
"Couldn't you do something about it, Dumbledore"?
"even if I could, I wouldn't. Scars can come in useful. I have one myself above my left knee which is a perfect map of the London Underground."
- But from that moment on, Hermione Granger became their friend. There are some things you can't share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them.
- (Dumbledore.) After all, to the well-organised mind, death is but the next great adventure.
- "your mother died to save you. If there is one thing Voldemort doesn't understand, it is love. He didn't realise that love as powerful as your mother's for you leaves its own mark. Not a scar, no visible sign... to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection for ever. It is in your very skin. " (Dumbledore)
